The hood is in good condition but the retaining detent is a little loose when mounted on the lens. The focus motor works well and is fast and accurate. Grab yourself a good copy of this built like a tank pro level lens which optically outperforms the subsequent 70-200 VR1 and doesn’t have the focus breathing issues of the VR2 version.
